Creating an emotional connection between flowers and people.

Hey everyone! My name is Jessalyn Allie Nash. Born and raised in Gay, Georgia.

I would also like to you to meet Cooke and Nash. They are my heart and soul. Therefore, where the name Cooke & Nash Flowers and Décor originated.

Cooke was my fur baby after my mama passed away in January of 2021. He helped me get through tough times, was my best friend and made me have a love for dogs I never knew about. I have always loved dogs but not how I do now, Cooke opened my eyes to a love that is so personal and takes a piece of your heart with them. Unexpectedly, I lost Cooke to Parvo in December 2021…I will always cherish the love he gave me, memories we made and him being my best friend during one of the toughest losses I will go through. I know mama welcomed him with open arms and maybe she needed a little piece of me to be with her in heaven…

My family and friends surprised me with Nash for Christmas. He has made the heartache of losing mama and Cooke not so sharp and has given me the love and friendship I have needed during this time. I hope to include Nash in as many photos and features as possible, so be on the lookout!

My love for decorating and flowers….

I knew I always wanted my own wedding décor business, flower shop or something that featured both. Mama gave me a push I needed and has set a fire in me to build a legacy in her memory and now Cooke’s too. My mama, Chris Cooke Rogers taught me everything I know about decorating, arranging flowers, staying organized, cleaning things well, and that presentation is everything.

My siblings and I grew up in a log cabin that was absolutely beautiful. There was a pond, a pasture with horses and cows, and mama had a huge secret garden that was always beautiful. I remember there was an arch way that stayed covered in the prettiest light pink and white roses…I think this is where my love and appreciation for flowers and decorating started… Flowers can have an intimate impact on people and I want to create that emotional connection between flowers and people. Flowers, plants and arrangements can have a positive effect on mental health and I’m all about positivity and good vibes. I want to create those special flashbacks/connections people have when they see or smell certain flowers.

I have always loved decorating, designing floral arrangements, and other unique aspects of the two together. I have decorated for parties, weddings, baby showers and other special events.

My personal interest including being outdoors, kayaking, hunting, fishing, decorating, reading, creating arrangements, being a green thumb (for the most part anyways), of course spending time and playing with Nash, and many more hobbies.
